Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Dispatch Coordinator to manage and oversee our daily tour dispatch operations online. This role is crucial for ensuring our tours run on schedule, drivers and guides are coordinated effectively, and customers receive exceptional service from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-to-day dispatch for our tour vehicles and guides
- Prepare, monitor, and update driver/guides manifests and schedules
- Communicate in real-time with drivers, guides, and support teams
- Handle route planning and rescheduling as required
- Quickly troubleshoot and resolve any issues during operations
- Maintain dispatch logs and compliance documentation
- Deliver prompt, clear, and professional communication with all parties
- Provide outstanding support to guarantee a seamless guest experience
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of dispatch experience, preferably in the tourism or transportation industry
- Excellent spoken and written English — confident and commanding communication skills
- Comfortable working in an online/remote dispatch environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Technically proficient with online systems, dispatch software, and basic office applications
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak tourism periods as needed
- Familiarity with Niagara Falls tourism is a strong asset
