JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of product development, including cost control and sample production, to ensure alignment with customers’ requirements.
  • Oversee the costing process, ensuring it is based on expected profitability and negotiate with customers to establish mutually beneficial price points.
  • Manage the development of samples, ensuring they meet customer expectations and are delivered within specified timelines while maintaining quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure timely availability of raw materials, supporting the overall efficiency of the production process.
  • Work closely with customers to comprehend their global business, striving to maximize Q Collection's penetration in the market and provide a competitive edge for Q.
  • Coordinate activities such as lab dips, strike-offs, and raw material sourcing with relevant parties, ensuring adherence to timelines and schedules.
  • Order and execute bulk raw material procurement in a timely manner.
  • Follow up on all activities related to shipment and sales, ensuring they progress as per the agreed timelines.
  • Receive, understand, and clarify Bill of Materials (BOMs) and relevant information from customers and provide the data to other relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage various systems including Tech Pack, Order Confirmation (OC), Sales Contract, Costing, and BOM to streamline processes.
  • Ensure effective data management activities, including Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Timeline and Action (T&A), and BOM, tailored to meet specific customer requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in a similar role within the apparel manufacturing industry.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong understanding of product development, costing, and sourcing processes within the apparel industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Sound knowledge of textile materials, garment manufacturing processes, and production timelines.
  • Awareness of global fashion trends, customer requirements, and competitive positioning.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain professional relationships with global customers.
