Responsibilities
- Data Collection and Processing: Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets for analysis. Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Data Analysis: Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in data. Use data visualization tools to create meaningful and easily understandable reports.
- Database Management: Maintain and manage databases, ensuring data consistency and security. Develop and implement data extraction and querying processes.
- Interpretation and Presentation: Interpret and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders. Create reports and dashboards to present insights derived from data analysis.
- Trend Identification: Identify key business trends and provide recommendations based on data insights. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs.
- Data Quality Assurance: Implement measures to ensure the quality of data, including data validation and cleansing. Collaborate with IT teams to resolve data-related issues.
- Programming and Tools: Use programming languages (e.g., Python, R) and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau) for analysis. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Problem Solving: Address complex business problems through data analysis and provide actionable solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and solve data-related challenges.
- Reporting: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports based on business requirements. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting activities.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement in data analysis and reporting. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications & Pre-requisites
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Physical Science, Mathematics or Statistics from a UGC approved university or an equivalent professional qualification with minimum 1-2 years’ experience in similar capacity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Fully or Part qualified in AIII, ACII(UK) will be an added advantage.
- Ability to deliver accurate, relevant and timely information based on solid analysis.
- Age preferably below 30 years.
