Assistant Quantity Surveyor
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will support cost management, contract administration, and financial control of MEP projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
- Conduct measurements, valuations, and cost analysis for MEP projects.
- Support in contract administration (variations, claims, and final accounts).
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure cost efficiency.
- Monitor project expenditures and assist in financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and contractual obligations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in QS or cost management in Construction Field.
- Familiarity with construction contracts (FIDIC, NEC, JCT, etc.) is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Excel & AutoCAD is preferred.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
