Quantity Surveyor
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our Pre-Contract team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in cost estimation, tender preparation, and bid strategy development, ensuring competitive tender submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for tenders and general inquiries.
- Analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications to identify risks and opportunities.
- Develop competitive bid strategies and value engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure optimal pricing.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and client requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date cost databases and market benchmarks for informed decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in QS or cost management in MEP Field.
- Proven experience in pre-contract estimation and tender bidding.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and MEP systems (preferred).
- Familiarity with construction contracts (FIDIC, ICTAD etc.) is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Excel & AutoCAD is preferred.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
