MANAGER - FINANCE

THE PROFILE
- Prepare tax computations, returns and payments (Income Tax, Deferred Tax, Taxes on financial services (VAT on FS) and normal VAT etc.)
- Manage and maintain the company's Tax database.
- Ensure full compliance with all tax filing and payment obligations.
- Monitor, evaluate and timely communicate the impact of industry trends and regulatory changes on tax matters.
- Maintain fixed assets register and manage all records and entries in relation to fixed assets.
- Approval of payments and accounting entries.
- Preparation of CBSL returns, management Information and board level Information/Papers.
THE PERSON
- Full or part qualified in CA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent qualifications.
- Over 3 years experience in a Bank or a Financial services organization, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in Taxation.
- Good communication skills in both English and Sinhala.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
