Manager / Senior Manager - Sales (Marine Division)
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to handle the sales operations of our Marine Division, serving the fisheries sector, leisure industry, Sri Lanka Navy, Port Authority, and other institutions and customers. This leadership role requires a results-driven individual with a solid background in sales operations and proven managerial expertise in the marine sector.
Candidate Profile
- Knowledge of the marine industry is essential, along with a minimum of 5–10 years of experience in a managerial or senior role.
- A degree or related academic qualification in Marine Engineering or Marine Operations will be an added advantage.
- Proven leadership skills, sales experience, and the ability to manage complex and diverse operational teams are required.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, along with excellent communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills, is essential.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and cost control, is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales target achievement and actively grow the customer portfolio to expand market share.
- Develop and implement strategic and operational sales plans for the division.
- Oversee daily sales activities and manage client relationships across fisheries, leisure, and governmental sectors.
- Manage sales budgets, control costs, and allocate resources to maximize profitability and revenue.
- Lead and train sales teams, fostering collaboration with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Continuously improve sales processes and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Contribute to long-term sales strategies and market expansion goals for the division.
