DESIGN & ESTIMATION ENGINEER

As the Design & Estimation Engineer, you will:

  • Register the enquiries received from the sales team and review the initial documents (e.g.: load schedule, project specifications, etc.)
  • Develop power panel designs
  • Prepare the final BOQs along with estimations and send the quotations to the sales team
  • Revise quotations according to feedback from customers
  • Attend customer meetings with the sales team when necessary
  • Perform CAD drafting during the estimation stage
  • Assist the AutoCAD design team to prepare technical submittals
  • Develop E-Plan drawings (including the panel layout, single-line diagram, four-line diagram, control diagram, and busbar arrangement)

The ideal candidate should:

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with two years of work experience (or a diploma in electrical engineering with four years of work experience) in design and estimation
  • Be fluent in written and spoken English
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Have 2D CAD experience (AutoCAD and E-Plan)
  • Be experienced with Microsoft Office
