Vacancy - Production Manager
McLarens Containers is a key entity within the McLarens Logistics Group, one of Sri Lanka’s leading providers of integrated logistics solutions, including Container Terminals, Freight Stations, Warehousing, Transport, Shipping, and other value-added services.
The company manages a substantial fleet of marine containers and is actively engaged in container trading, rentals, sales, and container conversions. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our Container Conversions Division.
We are looking for a versatile and proactive candidate who possesses:
- An NDT or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity, preferably within the container fabrication or steel-related industries.
- Proven exposure to steel fabrication techniques and a sound understanding of interior design concepts.
- Solid knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.
- Hands-on experience in project costing, quality control, and proficiency in AutoCAD and interpreting mechanical drawings.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain keen attention to detail.
- Preference will be given to candidates residing near Wattala / Welisara, and those willing to work extended hours to meet project deadlines.
