VILLA MANAGER

Location: South

Reports to: Cluster General Manager South

Job brief

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Manager/ Assistant Manager to join our busy growing team. As a Manager/ Assistant Manager, you will be reporting to the Hotel Manager and assisting with operations and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee hotel operations in collaboration with other managers and staff.
  • Handle front office duties, including greeting clients and managing phone calls.
  • Handle and update files, documents, and spreadsheets.
  • Manage office equipment, bookkeeping, and invoicing.
  • Ensure property maintenance and uphold brand standards and quality.

Requirements and skills

  • Previous work experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • High-level of written and verbal communication skills.

STORKEEPER

Location: Waharaka

Reports to: Senior General Manager-South / Senior Accounts Executive / Group Cost Controller

Job brief

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Storekeeper with a solid hospitality background to support our operations. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in receiving goods, issuing goods to various departments, and maintaining accurate stock records. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in record-keeping, inventory preparation, and inventory control processes in a hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate Purchase Requisitions according to the minimum order quantity levels at the stores.
  • Receive goods from suppliers and check for quantity, quality, and specifications per purchase order.
  • Prepare Goods Received Notes (GRN) with proper documentation and approvals.
  • Ensure items received are within expiry standards, storage conditions, and hotel quality.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and corporate purchasing team for any discrepancies or returns.

Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate stock levels of F&B, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Admin items.
  • Tag and store inventory in designated areas following FIFO and hotel hygiene standards.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock counts and reconcile with system balances.
  • Monitor expiry dates, slow-moving, and non-moving stock; report as necessary.

Cross-Outlet/Center Transfers

  • Prepare and document inter-department and inter-property transfers.
  • Issue goods to cost centers/outlets based on approved requests.
  • Maintain transfer logs and ensure timely and accurate entries in the inventory system.

System & Reporting

  • Generate Purchase Requisitions to the corporate purchasing team.
  • Post all GRNs and issues into the Inventory/ERP system.
  • Support cost control with stock movement reports and consumption analysis.
  • Maintain organized records of stock movement, vendor delivery notes, and logs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Storekeeper in a hospitality or F&B environment.
  • Good knowledge of receiving procedures, stock control, and inventory management.
  • Understanding of basic hygiene and HACCP standards for storage.
  • Ability to handle and relay receiving and issuing information accurately.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

SENIOR ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE

Location: Head Office, Colombo 7

Reports to: Group Head of Finance / Managing Director

Job brief

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Executive with a strong background in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and supporting the finance team in month-end closing, audits, and compliance. Experience in hotels or F&B outlets is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Handle supplier invoices, staff claims, and petty cash reimbursements.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Process salaries and pass journal entries.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Preparing financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (F&B, Housekeeping, Front Office) for accurate revenue and cost reporting.
  • Monitor and verify revenue postings from PMS/POS systems.
  • Assist in VAT returns, audit schedules, and compliance-related documentation.
  • Support the finance team with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Coordinate with Cost Controller to verify F&B and variances on monthly basis.
  • Participate monthly stock verifications at the property.
  • Ensure all financial records comply with internal policies and statutory regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance / Higher Diploma in Accounting and Finance or professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CA) Full or Part Qualification (Pass Level).
  • Minimum of 5-6 years of accounting experience in the hospitality industry or a group or company structure.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, and statutory compliance, particularly in accounting systems.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong numerical and analytical skills.
