ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT
Job Responsibilities
- Managing day to day activities of the Finance Department.
- Ensuring timely preparation of Monthly Accounts and Annual Financial Statements of the Group.
- Ensuring the accuracy of accounting records and MIS.
- Complying with tax regulations including VAT, WHT and Income Tax.
- Attending to banking, tax, TDA and other external engagements.
Qualification & Experience
- Having a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university.
- Partly or fully qualified from a professional accounting body like ACA, CIMA or ACCA.
- Five years hands on experience in a Finance Department preferably in the Hotel industry.
- Experience in working with an accounting package and knowledge in MS Office Packages.
- Sound knowledge about Income Tax, VAT and other related taxes.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and work under pressure.
- Sound communication ability.
