DESIGNATION: GROUP PROJECT MANAGER – MECHANICAL

ROLE PROFILE
- Lead mechanical and MEP projects across multiple business units, ensuring strategic alignment with business goals.
- Oversee project planning, budgeting, execution, and final handover with a focus on timelines, cost, and quality.
- Drive the implementation of sustainable technologies to reduce operational costs and improve efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with OH&S, environmental, and regulatory requirements across all sites.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing project team with strong technical and leadership competencies.
- Standardize project processes through the development and enforcement of SOPs and technical documentation.
- Conduct feasibility studies, manage evaluations, and oversee contractor performance and stakeholder communication.
PERSONAL PROFILE
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent qualification is required.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including hands-on designing of building services.
- Prior experience in project management within the FMCG or manufacturing sector is a strong advantage.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and develop high-performing technical teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Deep commitment to sustainability, safety compliance, and innovation in mechanical project execution.
