DESIGNATION: GROUP PROJECT MANAGER – MECHANICAL

ROLE PROFILE

  • Lead mechanical and MEP projects across multiple business units, ensuring strategic alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee project planning, budgeting, execution, and final handover with a focus on timelines, cost, and quality.
  • Drive the implementation of sustainable technologies to reduce operational costs and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure full compliance with OH&S, environmental, and regulatory requirements across all sites.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing project team with strong technical and leadership competencies.
  • Standardize project processes through the development and enforcement of SOPs and technical documentation.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, manage evaluations, and oversee contractor performance and stakeholder communication.

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent qualification is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including hands-on designing of building services.
  • Prior experience in project management within the FMCG or manufacturing sector is a strong advantage.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and develop high-performing technical teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Deep commitment to sustainability, safety compliance, and innovation in mechanical project execution.
