WE ARE HIRING
CHARTERED ARCHITECT
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture (BSc / B. Arch).
- Experience in computer aided design AutoCAD / SketchUp / V-Ray and Lumion 3D rendering.
- Responsible for the creation and delivery of strong and dynamic content from conception through to final production.
- Knowledge of local zoning by-law and Building Codes (council approval process). Experience in application procedures and negotiations for municipal permits is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Good command of English and Sinhala.
- Lead the planning process within the design team to create floor plan concepts reflective of operations.
- Comfort and enthusiasm for learning latest design skills and can-do attitude.
- Experience since chartered qualification minimum 05 years in Architectural based environment.
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills, and strong organizational, management and people management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage architectural projects from concept through to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop and present project designs, drawings, and models using relevant software.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide design solutions that meet their needs.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure project specifications and regulatory requirements are being met.
- Oversee junior architects and drafts persons, and provide mentorship and guidance.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Participate in the preparation of project proposals and presentations.

ARCHITECT
