Manage financial planning, budgeting, and reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Prepare monthly cash flow reports, financial statements, and budget variance updates for management.
Support the development and monitoring of project and grant budgets.
Oversee administrative tasks, facilities, and inventory management.
Provide logistical and operational support to Shanthi Maargam Youth centre activities.
Manage staff payroll, statutory payments, procurement, contracting, and ensure accurate and timely payments to staff, consultants, and external vendors.
Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
Professional certifications (CA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or administration.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
Effective written and verbal communication in English and Sinhala/Tamil.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
