Position
MANAGER – DEBT COLLECTION
We are seeking an experienced and assertive individual to join our team as Manager – Debt Collection. Preference will be given to a retired Police Officer holding the rank of Inspector of Police (IP) or above, who possesses strong leadership skills and a proven ability to manage debt recovery operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the company’s debtor portfolio.
- Carry out all necessary administrative functions related to debt collection, including initiating and coordinating legal action where required.
- Personally visit debtors to negotiate settlements and take appropriate action for the recovery of outstanding amounts.
- Liaise with legal counsel, attend court hearings, and follow up on legal proceedings pertaining to debt recovery.
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities and legal cases.
Requirements:
- Retired Police Officer at the rank of IP or above.
- Thorough knowledge of debt collection procedures, legal processes, and police procedures related to debt recovery.
- Willingness to travel to meet with debtors and attend courts as necessary.
- Strong administrative, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
