JOB ROLE:
- Maintain and improve Displays according to the designed planogram of each Manufacturing Brand.
- Improve offtake sales of all Manufacturing Brands sustainable business growth by consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Utilize POSM of each Company effectively and prominently to entice consumers who are visiting Cargills Food City outlets.
- Manage and adopt relationships with Cargills Food City outlet Managers & Category holders to ensure product availability and visibility in designated outlets according to agreed Planogram.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, consumer behavior, opportunities and challenges.
- Provide weekly/monthly reports & updates to the Management.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies, procedures, and ethical standards at all times.
- Any other projects or tasks as requested by the Management.
IS THIS YOU?
- Passionate about Sri Lanka; you're committed to making a positive impact for our Country and its people.
- Minimum educational requirement: Professional qualification from SLIM, higher national diploma from a recognized/related institution are preferred.
- Minimum experience of 2 years in Modern Trade sales preferably in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods)/ Food Industry.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Sinhala/Tamil languages. (Trilingual is a plus)
- Good IT literacy skills (MS Office package & Microsoft 365 applications).
- Excellent pitching, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Willing to travel continuously for field visits, to any part of the island.
- This role is for the Southern, Western & Sabaragamuwa Regions & this is for our meat, convenience food & dairy product ranges.
