Vidma Engineering and Trading Co. (Pvt) Ltd. is a trusted name in Sri Lanka’s roofing industry, based in Werahera, Boralesgamuwa.
JOB PROFILE / MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports of the Company.
- Close monitoring of financial performance of the Company against budgets.
- Overseeing all financial functions related to operations.
- Performing monthly bank reconciliations.
- Maintaining accurate bookkeeping and VAT compliance checklists.
- Reconciling monthly deposits and financial records.
- Liaising with auditors, Inland Revenue Department (IRD), and other regulatory bodies.
- Processing journal entries and ensuring accurate data entry in the finance system.
- Follow up and collection of receivables on time.
APPLICANT’S PROFILE
- Partly or fully qualified in AAT, CA, CMA, CIMA, or ACCA.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sound knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, other accounting software, and MS Office applications.
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar role within the finance or accounting sector.
- Knowledge in computerized accounting packages will be an added advantage.
