What you need to do
- Work closely with customs brokers and supply chain partners to ensure timely and efficient clearance of imported goods.
- Supervise the handling, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of direct import items, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to track inbound stock, manage storage locations, and support accurate inventory reconciliation.
- Provide leadership and direction to warehouse teams, promoting a positive work environment and resolving operational issues effectively.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and safety regulations, including the proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Continuously assess and improve DI operational processes to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize errors.
What we are looking for
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role within the same industry.
- Diploma or higher qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and lead warehouse staff.
- High level of integrity, with the ability to handle confidential information and resolve problems with attention to detail.
