EXCITING CAREER OPPORTUNITY – ASSISTANT MANAGER - COMPLIANCE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out periodic compliance reviews and risk-based Compliance Audits in line with the Annual compliance plan approved by the BIRMC.
  • Conduct periodic compliance reviews on periodical reports submitted to CBSL Information Management System (Finnet) and ensure timely submission by the Finance division.
  • Assist in providing regular reports to the BIRMC and to the Board of Directors by assessing the company’s compliance with the laws, regulations, and directions.
  • Assist in designing and implementing suitable training programs for relevant employees to effectively implement regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
  • Support the implementation of IT developments/modifications related to AML Compliance.
  • Assist in reviewing and updating compliance policies and procedures alongside the Head of Compliance.

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a NBFI/Bank preferably in compliance.
  • Full or part qualification in banking/finance from a recognized institution or a Bachelor's degree in a recognized university.
  • Strong understanding of rules and regulations applicable for a NBFI.
  • Hands-on experience in conducting compliance audits and reviews.
  • Excellent analytical and writing skills.
  • Age below 35.
