Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Procurement Officer located in Katunayake. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing purchase orders, negotiating contracts, and handling procurement and purchasing activities. The role requires a high level of analytical skills to ensure cost-efficiency and to meet the company's sourcing needs effectively. Day-to-day tasks include managing supplier relationships, evaluating product quality, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
Qualifications
- Experience with Purchase Orders and Purchasing
- Proficient in Contract Negotiation and Procurement
- Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating costs and offers
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience in the apparel industry is a plus
