Senior Finance Executive / Finance Executive
Veracity Group is the global outsourcing arm of St Anthony's Group of Industries, specializing in Business Process Management and Knowledge Process Management Services in key areas of Finance & Accounting, Process Automation, Data Science & AI, Mobility and Customer Experience Services. We cater to a diverse portfolio of clients from the US, UK, Australia, Middle East and Sri Lanka.
We are looking for experienced resources to join our team for a Power & Energy company in the Middle East. This position will be based in Sri Lanka. Our client is a developer, investor and operator of power generation and desalinated water plants with 64 assets in operation, construction, or advanced development across 13 countries, with an investment value in excess 66 Billion.
The Role
- Prepare month-end schedules and support financial reporting tasks.
- Handle General Ledger functions, including processing journal entries, preparing reconciliations, and assisting with month-end closing activities.
- Provide transaction support across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and fixed assets.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance by following established processes and quality control standards.
- Liaise with client finance teams to gather necessary documentation and information for transaction recording.
The Person
- Provide daily and periodic support on transaction processing across accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, fixed assets and related areas.
- Follow transaction support processes and relevant quality control guidelines to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Effective and regular follow up with client teams on supporting documents and information for recording transactions as required.
- Prepare month end schedules and reconciliations.
- Work closely with the client finance teams.
