Finance Officer Programme Division

HelpAge Sri Lanka is an associate of HelpAge International based in England and is a Charitable Organization rendering assistance and support to the Senior Citizens in the country through a diversified plan of action to improve their quality of life.

We are looking for an energetic candidate to be engaged in the Programme Division as Finance Officer, reporting to the Accountant.

The ideal candidate should have the undernoted profile:

  • 5 years working experience as a Finance Officer/Assistant, part qualified in finance, excellent knowledge of MS Excel. Some knowledge of QB will be an advantage.
  • The job holder will need to provide financial analysis & reports to foreign Donors as necessary, through the Head of Programmes, on a regular basis.
  • The ability to converse comfortably in English will be an advantage.

Role Profile

Responsible for the financial management and oversight of projects, ensuring they are executed within established budgets and timelines. This role involves financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and analysis, as well as monitoring project performance and identifying potential financial risks and additionally play a key role in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies.
