Academic Head of Department Cum Senior Lecturer (School of Business Management) - Full Time

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Academic Head of Department to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will not only lead departmental initiatives but also deliver high-quality teaching and foster academic excellence. Key responsibilities include overseeing curriculum development, mentoring faculty, preparing and delivering engaging lectures, conducting assessments, and supporting students in their academic and professional development. A passion for education, leadership capabilities, and a student-centered approach are essential for success in this role.

Minimum Requirements:

Educational Qualifications:

  • A PhD in Management, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • A Master’s degree in one of the above-mentioned disciplines.

Experience:

  • Ideally under 45 years of age.
  • Minimum of 7 years of teaching experience, particularly in delivering postgraduate-level modules such as Research, Marketing, Accounting, and Finance.
  • Demonstrated experience in research supervision.
  • A proven track record of teaching in Top-Up and Master’s degree programs is essential.
  • Prior experience in handling Top-Up and Master’s degree programmes is essential.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong ability to develop, update, and deliver engaging course content aligned with current academic frameworks and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and support both faculty and students.
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to promoting a student-centered learning culture.
  • Willingness to work on weekends, with two weekdays off.
