Executive - Customer Service

Job Profile:

  • Manage customer orders from receipt to delivery, ensuring timely processing and accuracy.
  • Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, complaints, and service follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with sales, production, and costing teams to meet customer requirements efficiently.
  • Handle customer complaints and issues with professionalism and timely resolution.
  • Monitor order progress and proactively communicate with customers regarding status updates.
  • Maintain accurate customer data and order information using ERP systems.
  • Assist with preparing quotations, service documentation, and customer reports.
  • Support the sales team in building and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in customer service and order management processes.

Person Profile:

  • Successfully completed G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service, preferably in the manufacturing or packaging sector.
  • Familiarity with corrugated and polythene packaging products will be an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and the Google platform (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Sinhala (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
