Assistant Manager - Quality Assurance
Bellosé is one of the fastest-growing Personal Care and Beauty product companies in Sri Lanka, having made great strides in the hair care, skin care, and fragrance spaces. With an expanding portfolio of Brands and products, including exciting new ranges and variants, we are planning to strengthen our manufacturing operations and expand our production footprint to support our growth and innovation ambitions in the coming years.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high level of product quality across the production.
- Lead a team to ensure product compliance.
- Develop and implement quality assurance procedures, test methods, and documentation.
- Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
- Review and approve raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
- Coordinate with Production, R&D, and Regulatory teams for continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to GMP, ISO, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate QA records and prepare monthly reports for management review.
- Train and guide team members to maintain technical proficiency and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Biotechnology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role, with 2+ years in a supervisory or assistant managerial capacity.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO, and quality standards in the cosmetic or pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in report writing, documentation, and MS Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Ability to manage cross-functional communication and resolve quality-related issues efficiently.
