SENIOR MANAGER - SHIPPING
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Accountable for overall shipping/vessel operation and responsible for bank & corporate guarantee clearance.
- Handling delivery of Import and export shipments.
- Evaluate / negotiate freight and clearing quotations with service providers and prioritize them as per business demands.
- Develop and Implement effective and efficient shipping strategy.
- Liaise with warehouses to ensure swift and timely movement of inbound logistics from origin to destination.
- Coordinate and maintain the relationship with government authorities, local shipping communities & other related external and internal parties.
- Preparation of comprehensive MIS reports and monthly shipment movement reports.
- Should have a solid knowledge of shipping TIEP and custom related documents.
CANDIDATES PROFILE :
- Possess Bachelor of Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field and possessing an MBA would be an added advantage.
- Carry a minimum 10 - 12 years of Shipping/Logistic work experience, out of which 5-7 years in a managerial position in relevant field.
- Strong knowledge of logistic procedures and awareness on import/export policy changes.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Age below 45 years.
