JOB PROFILE
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as Imports Manager. The role is responsible for driving the performance of the Imports Division by ensuring the timely clearance of shipments without demurrage while maintaining strict compliance with regulatory requirements. The Imports Manager will build and sustain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including key regulatory authorities. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills to drive process innovation and automation, develop team capabilities, and deliver long term strategic solutions that enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the import process.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
The ideal candidate should fulfil the criteria below to succeed.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in imports, including exposure to regulated products, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
- A Degree in Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent qualification.
- Proven track record of maintaining effective relationships with government and regulatory bodies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
