We are looking for a dynamic and results oriented individual to join our team to take over the challenges of the following position.
Position: Assistant Manager - Stores
Location - Mathugama Industrial Zone
Your Role
As Assistant Manager - Stores you will play a vital role having overall responsibilities of stocks of raw material and finished good, overseeing the daily operation of stores making sure it runs smoothly and effectively.
Key responsibilities
- Taking overall responsibility to assure availability of raw material and finished goods at stores and update shortages
- Supervise daily warehouse operation including raw material and finished goods inventory, space management and productivity of goods issuing
- Schedule and oversee warehouse team and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency
- Liaise with sales team and logistic team to issue finished good on time to meet the on time delivery
- Maintain stock accuracy at any given time
- Be up to date with the SAP ERP with regard to stocks receive and issue and stocks balance
- Provide required information and management report to Management
Key Requirements
- Degree or diploma to the relevant field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with communication skill in English language
- Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
- Knowledge in SAP ERP system and electrical products would be a distinct advantage
- A male candidate age between 30 - 40 years
