We are looking for a dynamic and results oriented individual to join our team to take over the challenges of the following position.

Position: Assistant Manager - Stores

Location - Mathugama Industrial Zone

Your Role

As Assistant Manager - Stores you will play a vital role having overall responsibilities of stocks of raw material and finished good, overseeing the daily operation of stores making sure it runs smoothly and effectively.

Key responsibilities

  • Taking overall responsibility to assure availability of raw material and finished goods at stores and update shortages
  • Supervise daily warehouse operation including raw material and finished goods inventory, space management and productivity of goods issuing
  • Schedule and oversee warehouse team and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency
  • Liaise with sales team and logistic team to issue finished good on time to meet the on time delivery
  • Maintain stock accuracy at any given time
  • Be up to date with the SAP ERP with regard to stocks receive and issue and stocks balance
  • Provide required information and management report to Management

Key Requirements

  • Degree or diploma to the relevant field
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with communication skill in English language
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
  • Knowledge in SAP ERP system and electrical products would be a distinct advantage
  • A male candidate age between 30 - 40 years
