TAX ACCOUNTANT

THE ROLE
- Formulate and execute tax planning strategies that maximized operational efficiency
- Safeguard corporate reputation and financial integrity through rigid adherence to tax compliance and proactive statutory reporting
- Oversee rigorous validation of tax reporting and reconciliations to mitigate financial risk and ensure absolute regulatory compliance
- Oversee all tax audits and dispute resolution processes, acting as the key point of contact for the Inland Revenue Empower and guide the tax team to deliver technical excellence while proactively collaborating with key stakeholders to mitigate risk and optimize financial performance
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Commerce.
- Professional qualification in CA Sri Lanka, ACCA or CIMA.
- Tax specialization preferred.
- 5–7 years’ taxation experience, including 3+ years in management.
- Experience with tax audits, appeals and Inland Revenue liaison.
- Willingness to work at the LMD sector office in Mattegoda
