SECTOR MANAGER – (JM 1-1 (II)2025) - (02 Posts)
Qualifications :
- External Candidates (1 or 2 or 3 or 4 and 5 below)
- A Degree in a relevant field for the post which is recognised by the UGC. At least five (05) years post qualifying experience in a relevant field in a Corporation, Board or a Reputed Statutory Institution.
- Having served in the armed forces such as the Army, Navy or Air Force, holding the rank of Warrant Officer or above, or in the position of Police Sub-Inspector of the Sri Lanka Police, with 15 years experience and having formally retired.
- Having obtained a certificate of proficiency not below the National Vocational Qualification Level 5 (NVQ 5) issued by a vocational training institute or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Labour Law or Criminology or any other institute accepted by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission.
- At least ten (10) years post qualifying experience in a relevant field in a Corporation, Board or Reputed Statutory Institution.
- English Language Proficiency.
Internal Candidates
- Having obtained the qualifications required by the external candidates under number 02 mentioned above.
- Completion of minimum five (05) years satisfactory service in a post of the Management Assistant MA1 Grade II, in the subject area relevant to the post or 3 years security experience as CSO or OIC.
Must be permanent residents in Matale Anuradhapura or Gampaha, Puttalam Kurunegala area
Salary Code :
JM 1-1 2025 II
Salary Scale
Rs. 72,650 – 10 x 1,360 – 18 x 2,040 = 122,970
Salary :
Will be paid a basic salary of Rs. 65,633 since 01.01.2026 and Cost of Living allowance Rs. 17,800.00
Age :
Age should be not less than 22 years and not more than 45 years. The upper age limit will not apply to internal candidates.
Nature of Appointment :
Permanent basis with 03 Years probation with entitlement to E.P.F and E.T.F.

- Should be of excellent moral character.
