SGB & Portfolio Manager Head Office
We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Small Growing Business (SGB) & Portfolio Manager to lead and expand our SGB loan portfolio. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong SME lending expertise and a passion for supporting business growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Grow and manage the SGB loan portfolio in line with business targets.
- Identify, onboard, and retain Small Growing Business clients.
- Conduct credit appraisals, business assessments, and cash-flow analysis.
- Monitor portfolio quality, recoveries, arrears, and recovery performance.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients by providing financial guidance.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and microfinance laws.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Finance, Banking, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in microfinance, SME lending, or relationship management.
- Strong understanding of small business operations and cash-flow-based lending.
- Proven experience in portfolio management, recovery, and credit risk control.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and lending / core banking systems.
