IMPORT DOCUMENTATION ASSISTANT
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage end-to-end import documentation and customs clearance processes
- Prepare, verify, and maintain accurate shipping and regulatory documents
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure timely clearance of shipments to support uninterrupted supply chain operations
- Maintain accurate records and update internal systems in compliance with company standards
- Monitor import compliance requirements and ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines
- Support problem resolution related to shipment delays or documentation issues
- Liaise with relevant authorities to ensure smooth import operations
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in customs clearance and import documentation processes
- Good computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (mandatory)
- Knowledge of the ASYCUDA system will be an added advantage
- Understanding of pharmaceutical logistics and regulatory requirements
- Ability to work independently and manage strict deadlines effectively
- Possession of a valid driving license
- Possession of a valid Customs House Agent (CHA) licence will be an added advantage
