Vacancy – Production Engineer
Location: ICONIC DEVICES (PVT) LTD – Matara / Midigama
Full-Time | Monday to Friday | Salary Range 65,000 to 120,000

We are looking for a Production Engineer who can take ownership of production planning, execution, and coordination to ensure on-time delivery and smooth operations across our manufacturing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule production activities based on order requirements and priorities
- Coordinate and execute production tasks with assembly, testing, and procurement teams
- Communicate with procurement team on material requirements and shortages
- Monitor progress and follow up continuously to maintain delivery timelines
- Keep internal systems updated with production status and progress
- Communicate tasks, priorities, and updates clearly across departments
- Identify bottlenecks and support improvements in efficiency and workflow
- Ensure production targets and quality expectations are achieved
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Electronic / Mechanical / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering (or related field)
- Minimum 1 year experience in the electronics field is required
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and teams simultaneously
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and basic production management tools
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments will be an added advantage
