TRANSPORT MANAGER
A leading conglomerate in Sri Lanka with diverse business operations, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Transport Manager to oversee and optimize our transportation and logistics operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the transport department.
- Plan and coordinate transportation activities for the efficient delivery of goods.
- Monitor and control transport-related costs while ensuring timely deliveries.
- Oversee vehicle fleet management, including maintenance, servicing, and compliance with safety standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of drivers and support staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize routes, reduce fuel consumption, and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in transport management.
- In-depth knowledge of transportation regulations and fleet management.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- In-depth problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
