Harrisons Shipping (Private) Limited is a leading logistics and freight forwarding company, providing end-to-end solutions across imports, exports, and clearing and forwarding. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a driven and proactive Sales Manager to join our team.

JOB PROFILE

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding the client base, and strengthening market presence across freight forwarding, clearing, and logistics services. The role requires developing and executing sales strategies, managing key client relationships, and working closely with internal teams to ensure sustainable and profitable business growth across air, sea, and land freight, customs clearance, and value-added logistics solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue, margin, and growth targets
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across import–export, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and logistics services
  • Build and manage strong relationships with key clients to drive retention and long-term partnerships
  • Prepare and present proposals, negotiate rates, and finalize contracts and service-level agreements
  • Collaborate with operations, finance, and compliance teams to ensure service delivery, feasibility, and profitability
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging trade lane opportunities
  • Represent the company at client meetings, trade events, and industry forums to enhance brand visibility

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field
  • Master’s degree (MBA/PGDM) in Sales, Marketing, or International Business (preferred)
  • 8-12 years of relevant sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or import–export services
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations, INCOTERMS, trade lanes, and pricing structures
