YOUR ROLE
The Production Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the entire production process within the tea export factory to ensure high-quality output, timely delivery, and compliance with industry standards. This role involves managing the production team, optimizing production efficiency, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring that the factory meets its production targets.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop and implement efficient production plans and schedules to meet export demands while optimizing resource utilization.
- Ensure that all tea products meet the company’s quality standards and comply with international export regulations. Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to maintain consistency.
- Supervise, train, and motivate production staff to achieve performance goals. Manage staffing levels and oversee workforce productivity.
- Identify areas for improvement in production processes to reduce waste, lower costs, and increase efficiency without compromising quality.
- Monitor raw material availability and coordinate with procurement to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
- Oversee the maintenance of production equipment and machinery.
- Prepare production reports, including output, quality issues, and productivity metrics.
- Communicate effectively with senior management regarding production status and challenges.
- Work closely with logistics, sales, and export teams to align production schedules with shipping and client requirements.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor’s degree in food technology, Agriculture, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Attention to detail and quality orientation.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
