Muve is a UK-based property law firm with 500+ team members across the UK and Sri Lanka. We are building modern AI infrastructure, automation tools, and next-generation internal systems to improve workflows, reduce manual work, and support our lawyers and operational teams.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Manager – Human Resources will lead the delivery of HR services for assigned business units, ensuring effective people management, talent development, and compliance with organizational policies. As a strategic partner to business leaders, the role will drive initiatives that enhance workforce productivity, strengthen employee engagement, and foster a high-performance culture. This position reports to the General Manager - Human Resources.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a strategic HR Business Partner to leadership, aligning people strategies with business objectives.
  • Drive workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development to build a strong leadership pipeline.
  • Provide data-driven insights (e.g., attrition, engagement, performance) to inform decision-making and enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead employee relations, ensuring effective resolution of complex matters in line with company policy and best practice.
  • Champion employee engagement and culture initiatives to strengthen retention and organizational health.
  • Oversee performance management frameworks, fostering a high-performance and feedback-driven culture.
  • Ensure full compliance with labour laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies, mitigating organizational risk.
  • Manage vendor relationships (including insurers) to ensure optimal service delivery and employee coverage.
  • Drive continuous improvement and standardization of HR processes and policies across the organization.
  • Leverage HR systems and analytics to enhance operational efficiency and reporting.
  • Identify and develop high-potential talent to support long-term business growth.
  • Ensure competitive and equitable compensation structures through benchmarking and incentive design.
  • Oversee payroll, benefits, and insurance administration, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Lead employee communications and change management initiatives to support organizational change.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a professional HR qualification (CIPM, CIPD, or SHRM) will be an added advantage.
  • 7–10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, global organization, preferably within the outsourcing industry will be an advantage.
  • Strong exposure to core HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and HR operations.
  • Hands-on experience in compensation and benefits, and insurance administration, including vendor coordination.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with effective stakeholder management skills to support business decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and handle confidential information with discretion.
