Workshop Assistant Manager (PDI Operations)

We are looking for a competent and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager – Workshop (PDI Operations). The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for managing and coordinating all Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) operations while ensuring vehicles are prepared and delivered according to company quality standards and timelines.

Job Description

  • Oversee and manage all Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) operations
  • Ensure vehicles are inspected, prepared, and released within the required timelines
  • Supervise workshop staff involved in PDI activities and allocate work effectively
  • Coordinate with sales, logistics, and technical teams to ensure smooth vehicle handover processes
  • Monitor vehicle quality standards and ensure all inspections are properly completed
  • Identify and resolve technical or operational issues related to PDI activities
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to workshop and PDI operations
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in automobile workshop operations, preferably in PDI operations
  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Strong technical knowledge of vehicles and inspection procedures
  • Good leadership, communication, and people management skills
  • Strong management and coordination skills with the ability to lead teams effectively
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with workshop management systems will be an added advantage
  • Professional management qualifications will be an added advantage
