Field Sales Manager - General Trade

We are TruVic Consumer Pvt Ltd, an import and distribution company focused on delivering high-quality cosmetics, cosmeceuticals, nutraceuticals, personal care, and OTC products to the Sri Lankan market.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in FMCG sales with solid exposure to GT, Wholesale and SMMT pharmacy/cosmetic retail.
  • Proven success in team leadership, coaching, and motivating frontline sales teams.
  • Experience in territory demarcation, route planning, distributor management, credit, stock planning, and outlet coverage.
  • Ability to develop, roll out, and monitor channel-specific strategies with measurable outcomes.
  • Strong command of Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage our General Trade field sales team, including Territory Managers and Sales Promotion Officers.
  • Oversee end-to-end sales execution across General Trade, Wholesale, SMMT, Pharmacy, and Fancy Cosmetics channels.
  • Ensure strong Distributor ROI Management and execute sustainable growth models.
  • Drive performance through sharp execution of Field Sales KPIs and discipline.
  • Maintain strong customer rapport, dominate planograms and command influence at key trade touch points.
  • Deliver actionable Trade Insights to inform brand strategies and field execution.
  • Own the Go-to-Market Strategy for our cosmetics and personal care portfolio.
