We are seeking a dynamic and energetic individual who aspires to a career in the field of Warehousing and Supply Planning, to join us for the below post immediately at our processing center in Welisara.

MANAGER – WAREHOUSE AND SUPPLY PLANNING

THE JOB INCLUDES

  • Overseeing the daily operations of raw (tea, flavours & herbals) and packing material warehouses, including inventory control, space & floor productivity management, logistics arrangement and quality assurance to ensure the daily supply of required materials for the production process.
  • Inspecting equipment, tools and machinery on a regular basis and overseeing general maintenance, safety and hygiene activities of the warehouses.
  • Executing weekly demand and supply planning in coordination with cross functional teams and reviewing inventory by categories and nature of movements.
  • Achieving financial objectives by preparing the annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
  • Training, motivating and managing the warehouse team to meet the demands of production and ensuring the safe storage of raw materials and finished goods to operate with maximum efficiency.

APPLICANT PROFILE

  • A proven track-record of more than 12 years, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity within a food manufacturing environment with exposure to advanced best practices in supply planning and warehouse operation.
  • Should have a sound academic background with a degree or an advanced diploma related to Warehouse Management/ Logistic Management/Supply and Materials Management from a recognized university or a professional institute.
  • Prior experience in servicing in the tea or FMCG industry will be an added advantage for this position.
  • A proactive leader who will be inspiring and driving the team with strong work ethics and commendable organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
