ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT/ SENIOR MANAGER – ACQUIRED ASSET DISPOSAL (PROPERTY SALES) REHABILITATION AND RECOVERIES DEPARTMENT

You should ideally:

  • possess a minimum of 10+ years of proven experience in property sales or real estate disposal
  • have a strong track record of successfully closing property transactions with prior exposure to islandwide property markets, preferably with experience in an Acquired Asset team within a bank
  • have experience in high-value or distressed property sales (would be an added advantage)
  • possess exceptional sales, negotiation, and closing skills
  • possess a strong network with real estate buyers, agents, and investors
  • have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with hands-on expertise in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, property websites, online campaigns)
  • be multilingual (Sinhala, Tamil, English) with willingness to travel extensively across the country
  • have strong market awareness and commercial acumen
  • have the ability to achieve targets related to volume and value of properties disposed within defined timelines
  • be capable of reducing inventory of acquired assets and improving speed of conversion from listing to sale

You will be mainly responsible for:

  • accelerating disposal of acquired real estate assets through strong market networks, sales expertise, and innovative marketing
  • leading end-to-end disposal of properties across the country
  • developing and implementing effective sales strategies to expedite liquidation
  • sourcing and engaging buyers, brokers, and real estate networks proactively
  • conducting site visits, property evaluations, and client negotiations independently
  • creating timely publicity through newspaper advertisements and BTL channels
  • driving digital marketing initiatives (social media, property portals, targeted campaigns) to enhance visibility
  • ensuring timely closure of transactions in line with KPIs
  • liaising with internal stakeholders to streamline documentation and processes
  • monitoring market trends and providing insights to improve pricing and strategies
  • representing the organization professionally when engaging external clients and partners
