SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - PROPERTY ACCOUNTING (AUS CALENDAR - AUS SHIFT)

The Job:
- Prepare monthly financial reports for a portfolio of properties, by completing prepayments, accruals and general journals.
- Review of financials with property management team prior to delivering reports to clients.
- Provide general accounting and management support to meet both property owner and internal management requirements.
- Process and manage General Ledger journals, Owner Paid/Sinking Fund transfers, Promotion fund Journal sweep, and others as required.
- Run monthly end-of-month queries and distribute to Property Managers/Clients.
- Liaise with Property Managers to ensure all fees are reviewed, issued and collected in accordance with management agreements.
- Oversee daily creditor payment runs as required, ensuring all payments are made in accordance with documented policies and procedures.
- Clear written and verbal communication to all stakeholders, ensuring adherence to standards.
- Assist with monthly financial reporting for clients, including the preparation of accruals and prepayments in accordance with the monthly accounting timetable.
- Ensure outgoing audits are finalised as per the Retail and Commercial Tenancy Acts where applicable.
- Assist in updating B&F budgets to MRI General Ledger and tenant recoverable charges as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or part-qualified in CA/CIMA/ACCA/CMA.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Finance and Accounting
- Knowledge of financial principles and accounting concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
