Intern - Trainee Tour Executive
Based in Colombo, Sri Lanka
Unique Lanka Travels (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a motivated Trainee Tour Executive to join our team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in tour planning, operations, and client coordination while building a career in the travel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and preparing tour itineraries
- Coordinate with hotels, transport providers, and guides
- Support booking processes and handle basic client inquiries
- Assist in day-to-day tour operations and logistics
- Maintain records and update booking systems
- Provide support to senior team members
- Ensure smooth execution of tours and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- School leavers or diploma/degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field
- Good communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage)
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email)
- Passion for travel and tourism
- Willingness to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Working Days: Monday to Saturday | Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Qualifications:
- G.C.E. A/L completed (any stream)
- Diploma or certificate in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of the travel and tourism industry is an advantage
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
