Colour Sorter Operator (Raw Cashew Nut Processing Plant)
- Location: Gampaha Kiridivita
- Gender: Male (Preferred)
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Work Environment: Factory Based Shift Work
Key Responsibilities
- Operate colour sorter machine to remove defective, discoloured and foreign materials from raw cashew nuts.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments for accuracy.
- Ensure smooth flow of raw cashew nuts and maintain target quality standards.
- Clean and maintain the machine and work area for hygienic operations.
- Record daily production data and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Follow safety and quality guidelines at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum G.C.E. Ordinary Level (or equivalent).
- 1 – 2 years of experience in operating colour sorter or similar machines in a cashew processing or food industry.
- Basic knowledge of raw cashew nut processing is an advantage.
- Ability to identify discoloured, damaged and foreign materials.
- Good attention to detail and concentration.
- Willingness to work in shifts and meet production targets.
