Primary Job Role
As a Vendor Management Intern you will support software licensing, vendor management, contract administration, and compliance activities. This role works closely with IT, procurement, legal, finance, and external vendors to ensure accurate license tracking, contract management, cost optimization, and regulatory compliance while maintaining strong documentation and communication standards.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in tracking and maintaining software licenses and vendor contracts.
- Support software license compliance activities and help monitor license usage.
- Help identify opportunities for license optimization and cost savings.
- Assist in vendor coordination, communication, and documentation.
- Support contract renewal tracking and maintain renewal schedules.
- Help analyze vendor-related expenses and prepare basic reports.
- Maintain accurate records of licenses, contracts, and vendor communications.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as IT, procurement, and legal for related activities.
- Assist in resolving basic vendor issues and follow up on pending actions.
- Support compliance, data privacy, and documentation requirements.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Basic understanding or interest in vendor management, procurement, or contract coordination.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
