Wharf Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated Wharf Assistant to support our import/export and customs clearance operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end customs clearance process for both exports and imports, ensuring the timely movement of shipments while adhering to all regulatory and company standards.
This role plays a vital part in ensuring the uninterrupted supply of goods. The Wharf Assistant will coordinate closely with customs and port authorities, as well as government agencies for certifications and licenses, to ensure compliance, accuracy and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Valid Customs House Agent (CHA) license
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in customs clearance operations
- Strong knowledge of ASYCUDA and import/export documentation
- Good understanding of customs regulations and government authority procedures
- Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
