Job Role
- Assist in planning and executing daily/weekly production schedules to meet delivery targets.
- Monitor production progress and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure workflow continuity.
- Support production team in line balancing and efficiency improvements.
- Track material availability and coordinate with stores and planning for smooth production flow.
- Identify and report any production-related issues or deviations to ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Support implementation of Lean manufacturing practices and productivity improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate records of production data, output, and workforce utilization.
Individual Profile
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in transport coordination or administration.
- Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance and transport operations.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Good computer literacy in MS Office applications.
- Experience in the apparel manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
- Preference will be given to candidates residing in the Ingiriya or Horana areas.
