Program Coordinator Cum Assistant Lecturer in Counselling and Applied Psychology
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate the Counselling and Applied Psychology programme, ensuring academic quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops, and practical sessions in relevant subject areas.
- Develop and review course materials, curricula, and assessment methods.
- Guide and mentor students, providing academic and career support.
- Monitor student progress, attendance, and at risk students.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, industry professionals, and placement partners.
- Ensure effective programme documentation, reporting, and quality assurance.
- Promote the programme through outreach, awareness sessions, and networking activities.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Counselling, or a related field (mandatory).
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience in teaching, programme coordination, or academic counselling is preferred.
- Relevant industry experience in counselling or applied psychology is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong subject knowledge and learner-centred teaching approach.
- Good organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and meet deadlines.
