JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to join our organisation and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across our projects.
SCOPE OF WORK:-
- Implement and monitor Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and site inspections
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations
- Prepare safety reports, method statements, and toolbox talks
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions
- Train staff and workers on safety awareness
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :-
- Degree/Diploma in Safety Engineering or related field
- NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent certification (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in construction project sites
- Strong knowledge of HSE standards and regulations
- Good communication and leadership skills
CONDITIONS:-
- Location: Puttalam
- Employment Type: Contract project basis
- Salary: Negotiable (based on experience)
