Sewing Technical Executive
Location :- Embilipitiya plant
We are Orit Apparels Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of the global apparel giant Indochine International, and a leading manufacturer in the apparel sector. With state-of-the-art facilities and a people-driven culture, Orit has built a strong reputation as one of South Asia's largest denim manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and adjust sewing machines for each style and fabric.
- Help in line setup during new style changes.
- Solve machine problems and inform maintenance for major issues.
- Check stitch quality and improve sewing performance.
- Train operators on how to use machines correctly.
The right candidate will be a young, self-motivated individual and will possess the following:
- Passed O/L or A/L (technical knowledge is an advantage).
- 2-3 years' experience in garment factory as sewing technician.
- Good knowledge of industrial sewing machines (like Juki, Brother, Pegasus).
- Can handle minor machine repairs and adjustments.
- Able to guide sewing operators and work as a team.
- Willing to work under pressure and maintain good quality.
